Member honoured in the Queen's Birthday Honours List 2020.
Club member Laurie Wills has been given the honour of the British Empire Medal (BEM) for ‘hands-on’ services to the local community. Laurie was founder of The Residents Enjoyment and Entertainment Society (T.R.E.E.S.) and given the honour “for services to Disabled People in Epsom, Surrey (West Ewell, Surrey)".
The Club and members have supported the charity from its inception. Members have supported the golf day, other events and the Club facilities have been made available for events.
In accordance with Government instructions, the Club will close promptly at 10.00 p.m. on all days and all members are to have exited the premises and all drinks either finished or left.
The Social Club is still a 'drinks only' and a 'members only' club. No food will be on sale. Internal social distancing and Covid-19 recommended sanitation applies. All drinks ordering will be taken from the tables. Drinks will be served at the table. Cash and card payments will be taken at the tables. NO STANDING ALLOWED.
Apart from when sitting at a table masks must be worn by all members and staff. This means that when entering and leaving the Club, going to the toilet, playing pool, snooker and darts.
No children, guests or associate members are permitted. Distancing restrictions mean that we can operate with a maximum of 90 members inside the Club. Members must swipe in at the door and will be refused entry to the Club if they cannot produce a valid membership card. There is an internal one-way system with different entry and exit doors.
